I have never seen such a large and busy specialty stationer. Even a lengthy line to the cash register! I would describe the focus as being writing implements and paper. Lots and lots of paper. Depth in quality product lines - alternate colours, versions, etc., not just a small curation.

Apologies to the random guy in front. And a shout out to @classicarepas across the street - a delightful Venezuelan restaurant.

@themuseumofmodernart offers a custom Camel pencil from Japan, and @metmuseum has jumbo and super jumbo imprinted graphite pencils, and also some small diameter but full length colour pencils from Portugal.

The @davidzwirnerbooks edition of Virginia Woolf’s “Oh, to Be a Painter!” is a very pleasant paperback.
